I hope you love yours as much as I love mine!! It has SO many tuning options it's unbelievable! Hope you will let me know how you like yours.

Can't wait to have the Polk amp removed Thursday and my JL installed. Had a couple of long road errands to run this weekend... perfect weather... the Polk cutting in and out constantly made it not so nice.

Thank you so much for the phone call & for remembering me, Dennis. I really appreciate it! If I had not found the used one, I definitely would have ordered one from you. Thanks again!

Thumbs up System complete!

Today, Car Toys replaced the faulty Polk amp with the JL that came in yesterday.
Sounds super great!! Thought I would share a before & after.
The only thing I see that was given up was the outside temp. ???

Happy as a pig!!

If I can get the broken defrost thing fixed, everything will be awesome.
Checking with glass peeps to see what needs to be done. No reply as of yet from BB's GM...

I had a terminal broke off of the rear window defroster. It was just just disconnected where it was soldered at. The picture is to blurry to see the detail of the fitting and connection If it does not have a covering on and just came off where it is soldered on it can be fixed cheap. You will need a heavy duty soldering gun like a 100 or more watts and some solder. Heat the fitting and melt some solder to it. Take the fitting press it to the area where it came from with the soldering iron. Heat it until the solder melts. Release the trigger so the iron will cool down but do not take pressure off the terminal until the solder gets hard. The tip of the iron may get stuck on the terminal but heating it wiil free it up

Thank you SO much for this!! I was hoping so much that it wasn't a big deal! If it is as simple as that, there will be no reason to continue with BB. I would rather not have to and just be done with it all. I really appreciate you taking time to give me step-by-step instructions. I can do this! You truly made my night!

If you have IPOD/iphone and you want to play from it you need the cable KCA-iP202. It does reach the center console hole where the factory connection was at but stretched. So i have mine in the glove compartment. I did however utilize a usb to mini cable as my 2nd usb cable to connect to the factory USB connection. That's the one i use for firmware updates or to add pictures

Doesnt sound bad at all in my opinion. The speaker is in the back of the dash kit behind the touch screen.

The one I have (Third Eye TE-SBC) was mounted with some type of adhesive instead of drilling. However the mount has the whole to drill.

Backup sensors do work.
SWC For the 9990 you will have to mod the wires. Here is the link to the PDF i received from Scosche. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/attach...0&d=1337862200

I did mine in 2 phases.
1st phase I did the trunk only. I used 1 pack of Ballistic SSBK at 250 for material and 250 for labor
2nd phase I did the entire rear of the inside of the car including the rear side panels & top of the rear deck. I also did the doors (on the door panel and on the door). Used 2 packs of Roadkill RKX36B at $350 and one pack of Roadkill RKO12 ( this is foam pad) for $75. Labor for the 2nd phase was 550
I did my install and don't have any problems at all with the harness. Everything works for me. What was the reason for the wire tap?

LIV4MUDDIN - Hoping that camarograna2 will pipe in.

I had made a list were people had issues/questions that I wanted to discuss with installer before my 2nd install. (1st did not go so well, so wanted to be big time proactive.) Not sure if installer actually wire tapped or not. Forgot to ask. Everything works perfectly, though.

Btw.... I LOVE White Fury!

Hey not sure why it worked for your White Fury to be honest. i Know that others had the latest firmware and it didnt work until this was performed. I personally do not know if the firmware will work for me as i couldnt update to the latest firmware. I'm waiting for my replacement so im sure the installer will try without the woraround first.

I had to go straight to the BCM with mine to work. Maybe that's the difference. Works with no issues tho
