I'm proud to say I have never had, and will never have a Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, FaceSpace, MyBook, or anything of the sort. At 24 years old, I'm the only one I know that hasn't succumbed to social media sites.

Facebook is great for family across the country or even a few friends. The ONLY people on my FB is this small group of about 40 people. So they enjoy keeping up with whatever i am doing and vice versa. Keep it simple and a small circle.

Come on people! Facebook is the sh1t. Where else can you be contacted by people you didn't like in high school or even knew and hear about stuff you couldn't care less about on a daily basis? Personally I love hearing about people having headaches or knowing that they are stuck at a traffic light.
Ok, I have an account and will use it to keep in touch with friends that have moved away and SOME family members. It can be entertaining on really boring days at work too. The other day a girl I know discovered that the guy she was seeing turned out to be her first cousin from her moms estranged brother. That's just classy stuff. Especially when she got told by her uncle on FB.

24 and no social networking? Wow I give you props for that! I fell into the pitts of hell when myspace was big lol. But because I was an army brat I found it was a great way to keep in touch with friends from back in the day.

I have achieved the same... I probably have near 100 pics that I post at random after mods or shows and a few of my club members are friends, but the rest have probably ignored all of my wall posts at this point.

How is someone posting on Facebook that they are at Whataburger with this person, or that person any different than someone posting here that they were at Whataburger and someone parked next to them, or smiled at them, or called their Camaro a Mustang?
There is no difference. This forum is basically Facebook. Period. |
