Not that I question ADM, they have done a tone of research.

But I'm not accepting the "tremendous" evaluation of wheel hop. There are a ton of people here who have spoken on the work GM has done to eliminate it on this platform.

So, his customers may have a very high standard and be expecting zero wheel hop.

Having ridden in the car and having more then the necessary ammount of power applied to get it moving, I can say we felt no noticeable wheel hop.

FWIW.

Let not stir this pot if we don't have to.

I agree. I these cats were testing on a prep'd strip I can accept some hop. On the street that wouldn't be too cool. From just the few videos I've watched, the little I saw is not concerning .

The issue is at the track not the street....For those that have ever danced down a legal 1/4 mile you know what is like.

The tires are a fusible link on the street.

Hennessey was able to get a pretty good launch on some drag radials. Didn't seem to have much wheelhop.

Thanks for the info'. At almost 9-inches, it's no wonder it's been stated to hold up to 600+ horse'. Very good news indeed.

That is great news.

so, looks like that will be enough to handle a streetable supercharger set up. As you'll be spinning the tires more often than not... it's asking a lot to expect to hold 600hp on the street.
