I went through this decision when I put a 5" cowl hood on my V6 mustang I had to cover up the big blower I had on it and since it was a metalic silver it looked clean and my friends said it looked great the body color, now I have the Camaro SS/RS and it is this RJT and the color is awesome to say the least. I have toyed with diffrent stripe options and colors but just can't seem to want to mess up the clean and fantastic look of the RJT. So I voted for option 3 match the body color, and this is also the same hood I have planned for a mod at the year end.Good luck.Car looks great by the way.

Of the three, I like option 2 the best.
I just dropped my car off today to get the same hood installed and painted. I am having the entire hood painted in RJT and then WIDE SS stripes painted, starting just in front of the mail slot and fallowing the contour of the scoop blister. Then taking the stripes up right over the roof, over the truck and over the MPD-1 rear spoiler.

Pic 2, It's unique and i have never seen one that looks like that.
Plus it matches with the Vossens But make it like a ZL1 stripe go from the hood to the spoiler i think that'll look GREAT!!! |

I think body color with T3 stripes that are slightly a lighter shade than the rims would look really good. The outer stripes would actually make the center of the hood more pronounced too. It's a ****ing nice hood btw.
