My dealer has had a 8 to 12 week delivery on his first 4 orders so far. Im number 8 of his original allocations so I believe this window is correct.

How are you guys following your car, are you getting updates from the dealer or is there something online. I looked at the sticky threads but didn't see anything. What I am looking for is the dates for something like this:

1100 (original order date): 15 May 09
2000 (dealer received allocation):
3000 (accepted to production):
3300 (scheduled for prod):
3400 (broadcast):
3800 (produced):
4000/4B00 (available to ship/bayed):
4200 (shipped):
4300 (intermediate, may be multiple):
5000 (at dealer):

Have your dealer check the Event Code History on workbench.
I think you will see your car WAY before the end of the year.

Your dealer has all that info. You can call the 800 number if you want to.......it's a hit or miss system. You could get someone that answers all your questions and finds everything you need, some of them just call your dealer, and some of them have no clue about anything. Dealer has been the best bet with me so far. Yeah....you will se it by the end of summer at the very latest......as long as you are in the dealers' allocation group.

Yea, unfortunately for the preorders, people ordering the cars now will be receiving them quicker due to the ramped up production. You have to figure, most of the preorders were placed before production started, and when it did start they were producing 200 or less camaros per day. Now they are producing nearly 440 a day and that will soon ramp up to 6 days a week for 7 weeks. They're not looking at a car and saying, this person ordered it before this person. They get a a group of similar models crank out 100 of them, and they were all placed at different times.

I have moved from number 8 of 8 allocations to number 3 of 3 at my dealer in only 2 weeks so it's looking good.
