actually, i'm glad you asked... many people don't know & it's a great thing to do to your engine every once in a while - cleans out the carbon buildups & gunk.

first, you wanna go to the beach (atlantic preferably, but pacific will do) & collect about 3 gal of it. early evening is the best time, when it looks like this

then just pour some in your gas, some in your throttle body, & some in your oil - all getting about a gallon each. run it a while & your engine will gain about 100 extra hp.

alright... enough horse s***

seafoam really is an engine cleaning chemical, but it comes in a can from any parts store

here's a great write-up of the process (which is actually just a detailed explanation of what i said earlier... well most of what i said )

First: Run your tank until it's almost empty (fuel light comes on)
Second: Fill your tank with Shell V-power fuel
Third: Drive until you are down to half a tank
Fourth: Fill up with Chevron Techron gasoline
NOW YOU HAVE V-TEC!!!!!

Just alternate between Shell and Chevron each time you get down to half a tank and you will maintain V-TEC

Average gain is 50whp but gains have been as high as 600whp on some vehicles.
hilarious!
