Yes the center console is for updates and loading from a usb device only, it will not work for your ipod. I ordered a usb to mini usb (mini usb connection on the back of the usb connector in the center console) from monoprice for like 87 cents then ran it to the headunit.

I love that receiver, but I actually like the giant control knobs for the HVAC. :( Any kits allow double-DIN and still have the big knobs?

They look good, but how much did it cost and how well does it all work? Can you still use all of your steering wheel controls and Onstar?

You need a totally separate backup cam with this deck, right?

Very nice! Maybe I've seen your car driving on the interstate going towards Winchester in the mornings??? I thought I had saw a IOM with white stripes the other day - I drive to Georgetown every day for work.

On a side note, you going to CamaroFest? We have 3 people coming from Lexington heading up Thursday and meeting up with about 20 others in Indiana for a caravan. Let me know if you're interested. It's going to be a blast!

All together was about $1800??? I dont think it was even that much. I still have my controls but I dont use onstar. Talk to Dennis and he can hook you up. I know the Onstar has to have a module to work.
