We have people here at the PD cleaning the floors...I am sitting at my desk. They walked by my desk to go outside and said "we are taking a break for a little bit while the carpets dry." Those guys arent too bright. No wonder they clean carpets for a living. Personally I would have laughed at you and told you to get a warrant if you wanted to search my vehicle. Probable cause? Body spray? Good luck getting a judge to issue that one!

Minor misdemeanor drug possession. I told them to bring me the weed which they did. So I had the evidence.

You said it...they aren't too bright. I can threaten to do whatever I'd like as long as it's not killing them lol. They didn't know what probable cause/reasonable suspicion is. All they heard was "take this ticket or I will take your weed" lol
