No, he would have lost. The GT is much lighter and therefore, faster.

However, this is assuming that each driver makes perfect shifts. In the real world, slower cars can still win due to driver error.

One thing, though, can anyone put these stories on here and break them into paragraphs? Gosh, they are hard to read.

Yeah right...The way that thing sounded sitting there at the light let me know what was under that hood. And never seen that one before so I'm guessing it was some type of 2010 model. It looked like one in the picture below except it was all Black.

Presuming you're driving a v6 camaro...

If it was a stock V6 mustang, you should handle him pretty easily.
If it was a stock V8 mustang, he should beat you but you still have a chance if he makes a mistake.
If it was a GT500 you should compliment him on his nice car.

And all of this should be proven on the racetrack of course, not street racing.

Ummm...yes...it might be a bit difficult for the V6 to own that one.
