So sorry to hear this, but I bet you are more so.

I would call a news station/newpaper.

These dealerships need to learn a lesson!

Good luck to you

I agree with the court idea.

Tell them, even if you are nor serious about going through with it, that you have talked to a lawyer and will take them to court for not honoring the agreement. Worth a shot.

Thanks for the support everyone.
I am going to give it overnight to see if they will come to their senses. If not, then I will do everything I am legally entitled to do to spread the word about what they have done, and why you shouldn't buy an automobile from them!

Sorry to hear that you are in this situation.

I wouldn't give them another day (plus a holiday weekend) to shop your car around for someone that's willing to pay their inflated price.

I would be glued to the phone first thing tomorrow morning.

Hope you have some good news to report.

If I can do anything to help (call, email, etc.) I would be happy to.

these are the dealers that should be closing. GM should really start policing dealers that are carrying their name. Complete Garbage.

How about hiring a lawyer for an hour to drive to the dealership with you with the paperwork in hand, and see how they react.

I'll freakin say it again. DEALERS; IF YOU WANT to charge > THAN msrp TELL US UP FRONT. THERE IS NOTHING MORE DECEPTIVE THAN TO CALL A PERSON WHOSE CAR JUST CAME IN---BRING THEM TO THE SHOWROOM AND SPRING A F'ING MARKET ADJUSTMENT ON THEM. I await a 2 ss SIM car. I really want the car but, If i get "Jacked" when I go to pick it up-----I will walk away from GM forever. This is coming from a long time Camaro owner over the past several decades. I can not relate to you how much stories like this raise my blood pressure!!! :mad0 260:: mad0260::mad02 60:

It's not GM's fault. Blame the dealer, not GM. You could have the same experience with a crappy Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen, etc. dealer.

This is getting out of control.

I need a beer and I don't even drink.

But when I do drink... I drink.. Dos Equis.. (No Bud Light with Clamato / Chelada).

Yeah dude, that's who I'm blaming, the dealers not GM!!!!!!!!!!!. I know GM is not behind the "Jacked" pricing scheme. With that said, ultimately GM looks bad because of it.

Legally, if you put a deposit down for a predetermined price and have the total cost in writing, they are OBLIGATED to sell it at that price. Sue. You'll win.
