Curious to know what year mustang your friend has?

I've done over 120 in my current GT and it is rock solid at high speeds. My 07 hit 145 and it was rock solid as well. Are you just trying to make jabs at Mustangs on purpose now?

I've hit an indicated 150 in an 11 GT500 and it felt plenty solid. On the 2010-2011 V6 models the needle will go what looks to be 5 ticks past 160.

you do realize the "ticks" does not denote max capacity of the the engine. and mustang boy, noones jabbing at your car so stop getting defensive. its an 05. cammed and slammed and would more than likely lay waste to yours. and anyone , other than a mustang owner, would admit the camaro feels more stable @ higher speeds. so kindly ensure your tampon is in correctly and relax.

I drive a blown 3V so I don't think a 330-350rwhp 3V would lay waste to me car, camaro boy.

I never said my car, I just asked what year. You are attacking me with your attempts at a put down, and I came in here asking a question. I've ridden in a 2010 SS with extensive mods, and it feels very stable at higher speeds. However, the same can be said about the two Mustangs I currently own and the other two I have owned

Continue on with your arrogant comments about your buddy's car laying waste to another car you know shit about, and act like a ****y camaro owner.

You're one of those guys. Funny thing is, I've been on this site longer than you, and actually post as an enthusiast and not an arrogant camaro owner. I actually like this site because I'm able to learn more about a car I'm trying to purchase (yes, a camaro) and contribute as an enthusiast, and not just a mustang owner.

I love both Camaros and Mustangs, but don't care for arrogant owners that think their car is better than everyone else's and talks out of his ass.

Enjoy driving like a douchebag on the street trying to see how fast your stockish V6 camaros goes. Hopefully you don't kill somebody.

Where are you located? Do you and your friend ever go to the track or do you just street race?

What is it about the Camaro that makes it handle high speeds better than the mustang? Just curious considering we share the same chasis as the top speed 202mph GT500.
I didn't know they had a 202mph gt500. Last I heard there was a 189mph one.

They just did an independent test. Here you go!

I especially like this part!

As usual with ford. Over promise and under deliver.

just street race for now. not willing to void my warrenty by taking to a track. dealership they look up vin numbers of people who have been at the track. not willing to do that. And i dont mean to come off as a "douche", just people get so defensive about their cars. i was stating my opinion, which i would say is a widely shared opinion and you took it to seriously and offensively.

hmm last time I went to the track they were taking blood and fingerprints too.... NOT, they don't even write down your license plate number or at least not the two that I have been to. You might wanna check up on that.
