your attempt to bash ford has failed, next time put some more effort into it.

When you have 46 years of success behind you with ONE BRAND, why screw up a good thing ?

Also Chevy truly only have two cars to use. That would be the Camaro and the Vette. Those other cars...really...c'mon...would you buy a Retro chevell ? Hell malibu's are out right now are they not...

Now a modernized 57 split window....thats something to look into, but I think it would fair as well as dodge foray into the retro hotrod. Hmm I cannot remember the name of that car they tried to bring back...

I actually believe C&D over the others mags. I don't think they pull any punches on any vehicle they test. I hate Ford, but give them a LOT of credit with the Stang. Its a very well performing car and ONLY needs more hp to lay waste on the whole class. The Camaro is DAMN good out of the gate, but will NEED to lose about 200 pds in the near future to stay up in the game. Lets hope the economy goes up and Obamanomics goes down and we'll really see what a pony war can be!!

Are all of the Mustang forums doing server maintenance lately? Seriously, can we not have a Camaro-biased discussion on our own ****ing forum without you nuthuggers coming in here raising the Mustang banner like it's a God damn gay pride rally at the White House?

It's rediculous.

Enjoy this post, there's no way it's not getting reported but it had to be said.

Rack me.

whats wrong with correcting mis-information would you rather live in ignorance and believe things that are not true?

I'd rather enjoy one thread without you idiots coming in here like it's a general car forum and flooding it with your blue oval enthusiasm.

I don't have any personal beef with the Mustang, I can give credit where it's due. Ask Garagelogic, I've defended him plenty on the forum and he's a true Mustang enthusiast that has a real interest in the Camaro and there's mutual respect. You asshats have to litter every thread with how the Mustang is the superior car in every way and we should just give up on cheering on the car that this forum supports.

but there are things being said that are not even true and some even made up. i think education is a great thing for any subject. when someone who knows more about a camaro than me on the mustang forums says something that corrects a few people do you know what i say?

"oh i didnt know that man thanx."

i dont say

"wtf no way man chevy is trash bla bla bla bla, mustangs rules there is no way bla bla bla"

acceptance is a beautiful thing. and so is open mindedness. you can keep calling names all you want, i dont resort to such things, i can do more damage to your ego with facts and real world knowledge than resorting to name calling would ever do .

1) That's not your stand, that's what you want us to think your stand is.

2) If we want real information we can go to a MUSTANG website and read it. We want to bash the brand here then we have that right to. Go to a Challenger forum and praise your damn car, or any other Camaro forum that's not as lenient as this one towards ass-hattery and you'll see how "educated" enthusiasts want to be.

I can not believe you are even suggesting that you and your cohorts have been neutral or unbiased on any thread that mentioned a comparison of the two cars.

I can't tell if it's always you, but every time I look a post and wonder why we allow them here I look at "Drives" in the avatar and see some variation of "Mustang"...it's a trend, it's annoying and it needs to stop.

Dont open the thread in the camaro vs section? go ahead and search my posts i correct information, "no the mustang will not spin into a 360 because of a pebble on the road because of the solid rear axle" "no the mustang is not 3800lbs" "yes it is possible to steer a mustang in more than a straight line" etc... if you cant accept something when facts are places gently onto your internet, ignore it.

I'm not searching your posts, I don't care enough about you. All I know is that the Mustang contingency (not just you personally) is out of control around here and deserves to be called out now and again.

Sorry it had to be you right here and now, but I don't apologize for my stance on the matter. This is a Camaro forum that has to be careful about defending the CAMARO against it's #1 rival so as not to piss off the minority.

THE BIG PICTURE

I will agree that ford has done some good with the stang. But in the overall big picture there is nothing really left to do. I mean the 500 cant even come close to the zr1 and the mustang can only be modded to compete with the comp out there. If ford wants to stay in the game in the future they need to make a whole new sports car.

Isn't this the Camaro Vs section? What the hell do you want to talk about if you can't mention Mustangs in a VS forum. Camaro Vs...what? Insight? Scion? Mustangs are the MAIN competition. If you can't handle that, why don't you stay out of this section of the forum. Go hide in your 5th gen Camaro only back-slapping,ass-kissing section, mein Furher,if you don't have the backbone to handle a opposing opinion.
