putting on vinyls is VERY easy. You mix up the 'the special adhesive water mix' and put it in a spray bottle. Clean the surface of the car. Remove a sticker and heavily spray it with the mix. Then heavily spray the area of the car put the vinyl on and just glide it around the surface till it is on the right spot. Then take you little no scratch blade thing and drag it accross the vinyl to push all the water out from under it. Heat the vinyl with a hair dryer for a couple of seconds and your done...

If you let the car sit out in the sun for a a couple of hours and get real hot you don't even need to use a hair dryer.

I know it is probably an aesthetics thing on the production vs. concept but they really should have these decals on the trailing edge instead of the leading edge.

Your PS of them looks good, rolnslo, bit I think the AutoTrim look is a tad bit better, and I think yours might be tricky to do.

My predicament too. How do you shade black? I believe either silver or charcoal would be best, but like you, Gazinya, I'd like to see pics.

So where are the F'ing pics? Your luck with threads is about as good as mine!!! Well, I for one appreciate the detailed pics in advance of buying them, and actually thought to check the mfr.'s site for pics of them installed, but JDBeck23 did the work for me, and the....less energetic. I think the facsimile concept looks very real. Thanks, Zombie!

I agree maybe a slight re-design would fix this

That is actually not a PS, that is a picture of the original Bumblebee from Transformers, in other words, that is the Concept car with the side vents actually open.

I love the fact that we have all gotten so use to the production car, and aftermarket decals that we can't even differentiate the concept from a Photoshop. to GM

Shade from clear to black, front to back. When someone makes a set that gives the illusion of working vents, I'll buy. You might have to go with different shading for different color cars. Mine's SIM.

Was going to order these, but will wait to see them on someones car before I do. The dot matrix look has me a bit concerned. Probaby something you'd need to get right up close to notice.

Zombie - Kdoske says "You mix up the 'the special adhesive water mix" - is this included in the stipe package or something they ask you to order separately? What are the instructions?
Thanks in advance.

There were no instructions included. I'm pointed here for instructions. Problem is there ARE no instructions for this particular kit. I'm emailing them about that.

Are those just peel and stick decals? If so, I think that's a little lame, personally...
