The car means alot of things to me , ...and an 'escape' is one of them.

When I want to escape for a couple hours I get in my car and just start driving random back roads. When I'm done I turn on the GPS and let it guide me home. Always fun to find a twisty back road I didn't know about.

Yep, best stress reliever for a hard day at work - roll down the windows, crank the tunes, and rip through the corners. By the time I get home I've forgotten what it was I was all bothered about! Beats one of those squishy stress balls any day hah hah!

Things like this is what makes the Camaro a great daily driver. Those that just drive theirs only on pretty weekends will never understand. They think they will get bored with it driving every day... All I can say is it's their loss.

Yep, after a 16 hour day toiling around the plant, it's so good to just roll down the windows and sunroof then hit the highway

Are you all hitting the country roads? I have to get there real late at night to be alone, no cops, no vehicles, just me and the SS.

Where are you making your runs?

My weekly trips to the Ocean are my mental health days.
What a relief to drive my Camaro and have fun!.
This week on the way home a Black model A Ford is in front of me on a side road
doing 25 MPH and wouldn't pull over to the right.
So I hit the gas, blew by him around 60 MPH, what fun! One for the memory books.

Almost every day

After a long healthy llife of surfing, running, backpacking et. al. I came down with a heart condition a few years ago that while not life threatening has slowed me down considerably. The Camaro puts me back in charge. It's the daily rush a Malibu wave used to give me.
Not complaining. I'm alive, upright, generally healthy and have an SS in the garage. Life is good.

The sweet sound of my SS helps me forget about things around me. I love the car for a relaxation tool.

I go on a sanity drive once or twice a week. I think it helps both me and the car since during the week my commute to work is extremely short and only on surface streets so she doesnt get much a chance to stretch her legs. Then during the weekend I end up on I95 and a few back roads to help clear my head of work. Helps keep me centered so I dont take work stress out on the family.

Hey AntiPriuSS, we'll have to get together. I am sure we are within 10 miles of each other...

After a week of having stress balls thrown at you the Camaro is a great relief. Hop in, listen to the pumps run, hit the start button and fire it up. Feel the rumble. Drive with the windows down and throw in a little boost. You have no choice but to concentrate on the moment and enjoy it ! Repeat as necessary.
