I hate the decel popping. I wouldn't draw a parallel to people with mullets (and IROCs
), but it's just a retaded idea. These OEMs will do anything for a mpg these days. I get 13.8 mpg in the city. I know they're trying to avoid the gas guzzler tax, but no one that buys a V8 camaro should be overly concerned with gas mileage...

the popping is something that has to be lived with without a tune....
mine is not so bad as to need a tune before a supercharger.. and yes SS Stock Sucks... alright.. sig pic showed up...

Best way to describe it:
Stock, the popping sounds kind of like popcorn in the microwave. Aftermarket exhaust/muffler delete. the volume of the popping ranges from just louder than stock, to a small firecracker. Long Tube headers, high flow cats, with a muffler delete: Drive by Shooting.

Call me a turd then cause i named my car but thats a preference thing anywho 1 car cruise i went on i had a mustang behind me and we were on a spirited drive needless to say he thought he was having issues with exhaust for about 20 minutes until he realised it was me deceling cause i dont use brakes. P.S. he loved the sound and on the inside its even better no complaints yet from anyone.

All or most SS do it on decel depending on how much you get into it before you decel. That's at stock. There are those of us who like it. I'm heavily modded now and I love the rumble of extra horses and the crackle and pop of the exhaust! If I wanted silence I would have purchased a Prius!
