This is totally not right.:( I agree I think it is a Dealer issue. See if you can work on that Missou dealer (nicely) I'm sure he/she would be glad to take your money for a fast sale, without an upgrade in price. Then get yourselves up there ASAP!

It sounds very odd to me. I have a hard time believing that GM would do that. If that is really happening I bet it is at the dealer level. Just kind of hard to believe

We have been loyal GM customers for 30+ years. This sucks!
Wow... how can you sleep at night doing business like this?

What dealer is it in West Texas? I may have some info for you.

Call GM customer support.
It's been posted on here by dealers that this is standard operating procedure. If a dealer is in financial trouble with GMAC, they won't ship cars to that dealer but will pick someone else to give them to. You *SHOULD* be able to contact customer service and get the car routed to another dealer. I'm not saying that there isn't a possibility that this was just a dealer-dealer transaction however it is also highly likely that the story is accurate.

Obviously you don't understand what this is all about...now don't blame GM...never blame GM...now...let's just get a move-on here and go buy yer car for whatever the dealer tells you.

I seriously call on the dealers part.

Let's say that this dealer you ordered from owed GM some money. Wouldn't the sale of the car to you benefit the dealer and in turn, pay back GM?

If your dealer was going under, why would they give away a perfectly good car that is going to be sold in a few days anyway???

I bet you a million dollars it was a dealer trade and GM knows nothing of this. That other dealer wanted your car and your dealer probably wanted a Z06 Atomic Orange w/ such and such package....and they decided to trade....because they CAN do that and SCREW the customer.

Again...This is BULLSH!T. I see NO reason for GM to do this.
