mlee----u cracked me up..... I personally don't think the AFM is all that big a deal either. However, my exhaust is stock and what I hear/feel when running on 4 cylinders does make me believe it wouldn't sound good with a cat back/muffler delete or any other exhaust mod.

Muffler delete--It sounds like A$$ at about 25-30mph. Higher speeds it does sound better than stock.

Just had mine tuned out, I declared war on afm and I eventually won. My dealer told me just tune it back to stock before bringing it in for warranty work.

I don't know to be honest. I questioned it too. But it was true. We did a before and after test. Maybe less work than switching between 4 and 8 cylinders? I have no idea. But it was like 3 mpg better after the tune.
