there were several questions and I will try and answer them.

1. Ground clearance. Had no issues with normal driveways and parking lot speed bumps. Had to use some extra ramps to get on the align rack, but that is pretty normal for a lot of vehicles. I was able to get a floor jack under the body. I have done some cars I that you had to drive on wooden blocks first.

2. Before the alignment, the cambers were in the -1.5 to -1.9 range on all 4 wheels. I had them go to -1.0 each wheel.

3. I was told this Camaro will be "aggressively tested" but still needed comfort. So I set the front dampers at 17 clicks and the rear at 15. This is the upper end of serious street driving. Road race settings are in the 21-25 range.

thanks

Mike I heard a rumor that you can fit 335's in the rear of the camaro on a 12" wide rim.

Can you verify this? and do you have a preference for 315 or 335?

Thanks

Mike and Pedders have been great to work with. I drove the car a few hundred miles today and the ride quality and handling are a night and day difference over stock. We should have some more pics in a few days and we will post them when we do.

This car will be at Cars & Coffee in Irvine, CA on Saturday morning. Come check it out if you are in Socal.

Lets just say that I have seen "a car" with 335s, but do not know if mods were done to get it to work.

Now based on this Camaro, I was told the fenders and such were roled, and if they did, they did a "perfect job" of it because I could not tell. Also the wheels are seriously outstanding. For their size they are light weight. HRE makes a off the chart quality wheel. Kudos to John H for choosing a wheel that not only looks good, but is functionally outstanding!. With it strength and light weight, this will seriously reduce unsprung weight. If I remember correctly, 2 pounds of unsprung weight equals 1 hp.

I think the 315s might be the largest you can get in there.

My very first brand new, ordered it from the factory, was a flame orange SS El Camino with a cowl induction hood, 4 speed, with black racing stripes. Seeing this awesome orange metallic Camaro, sent shivers of excitement and great memories of that car and my experiences owning it.

Guys,

If you can meet John and see this sweet ride, tell your mom, wife, kids, girl friend, or whatever, that you have a personal emergency to go to and it is a matter of life and death!! YOU MUST SEE THIS CAR!!

One of the guys told me the fenders were rolled. If not, I apologize for giving out the wrong data.
