Here is a quick video that we just shot showing off the NightOwl upgrade to our RGB halo kit. It shows the bay/grille lighting, so, it's appropriate!

Where did you mount the grill LEDs? Thinking about doing that this week.

Here's a simple, two-location system that we recently did. The customer wanted to add a little bit of light to perk up the engine bay at night, so, the strut bar and CAI intake were outfitted with RGB strips and a basic, RF remote controller was used. Also, the strut-bar strip has a connector so that the bar can be easily removed down the road, if necessary.

Is the blue light visible through the grill street legal?
I see the blub is not visible so I am not sure what the rules are.

I installed an RGB strip in my grill area to reflect off of the radiator. I've set the NightOwl controller to default it to white so as not to upset the LEOs...Even though I am friends with many of them.

The laws depend on your state. Usually, red and blue on the front are illegal everywhere. Enforcement, on the other hand, seems to be random.

We now have a new RGB+ engine-bay controller setup!

Sealed, 2.5" x 2.5" x 1.5" box with RGB out and optional, monochrome-spotlight output. Includes power and mode switches. Mode switch cycles between preset colors and two show modes (strobe and breathe). You can also save any of the colors as a default for next power-up.

First one being installed tomorrow. Hope to get some good pics.

Here is a nice, simple red kit that we just did. Firewall, engine cover, and core support. We also included an expansion connector in case he wants to add more later.
