Bought mine at Advance Auto. No issues, noise and dust free.

Thinking about upgrading pads with an R1 Concepts dimpled.slotted rotor. Is there a large loss in braking power going to the Hawk Ceramics? Less dust is fine but I might do some occasional parking lot Auto cross so I don't want to lose perfomance. Don't know I really need to get more dust for upgraded perfomance though. Never did it before so i really have no idea what to expect. Maybe I should just upgrade the rotors only and then decide? Or do it all at once? (rotors are being done mostly for asthetics).

I'm buying ceramic pads from AutoZone. $50 for the from and I think $45 for the rear with lifetime warranty. They aren't hawk pads but good enough for me

Maybe a dumb question, but can you put ceramics on the front and leave the stock pads on the rear?

Let me know how they work... Hawks are 133 for the fronts and 119 for the rears, so that's a considerably better price if they are in any way comparable. I'm looking for something with lower brake dust than the immense amount the stock ones generate.

You could but why not change them all at the same time? I will do all pads at the same time along with the rotors. I have almost 28,000 miles and don't want new pads with old rotors. My brakes are still good just can't stand the brake dust.

That's my main reason for getting them. My co workers daughter bought them for her ss and she says they are good. Can't beat the price and warranty

Appreciate it man- ended up getting OE pads for front/rear for a little over 200. Thinking I'll probably try the Hawks next time around, so I know who to speak to when the time comes.

"they're" not that hard.

Wanted to have the rotors resurfaced, but skipped it and changed the pads DIY. (like almost everything I do to my car)
