When did she get back from her last deployment? When I was in they kept telling us how they were going to go to a 1:2 ratio for deployments: 6 months out, 1 year back (double the time back vs deployed). But we all know how those things go with the military...

And by the way, we REALLY appreciate these sacrifices that the families and the service men and women have to go thru. In the end, its because of all of you we have the freedom to drive what we want, where we want, when we want.
Thanks and god bless. :flag2:

Your message really got to me.

I was an Army draftee in the 60's and by the grace of someone never got sent to Nam but spent my time in Texas. I have such incredible respect and thanks for all that serve. With all the crap going on in the country it is amazing to see all the young men and women who lay it all on the line for this country. Thanks to you and your wife. You're are the folks that are going to keep this country the great place that it is. God bless you all.

I'm sorry that you won't get to enjoy the first impressions of the car with her, but when she comes home again, it will be way more special for you two. Best of luck with everything. Thanks and God bless

Big thank you to your wife and you. It is primarily the military families in this country that are making the big sacrifices now. I grew up in a military family and my father served two terms in Vietnam. It sucked each time he departed. When I was in the Navy I wasn't married yet so it was a lot easier. It's great about the car, but the feeling won't be complete until the two of you are driving together. Time will pass and you will be driving this great car together soon enough.

As a fellow armed service member I know what you and your wife is going through, but you know what it will only be that much sweeter when she gets back from her deployment. Tell her good luck and stay safe time will fly by faster then she knows it

Thanks to the both of you for your sacrifices. Those of us that still think and vote are 100% behind you. Hang tough and who knows what might happen before she leaves on her next tour.

Godspeed and smooth sailing.

I know how you feel, I had to store my 1987 Camaro RS 3 times (6 months each time) in long term storage at 32nd Street in San Diego. I good part was that each time I came home from the deployments all I had to to was take the cover off and hook up the battery and she started right up, then I ran the tank down to 1/4, filled her up and got an oil and filter change, and of course washed the car also. I still have this car after 22 years and I will be driving her to pick up my New Camaro 2LT/RS as soon as she arrives.
