I will definitely put up some pics. I still got a hand full of months til I get back from deployment and am still on the fence between this and a supercharger. Leaning more towards the paint because I'm wanting "unique" and go to shows pretty often.

I'm far from an expert on the matter, but from what I've read, a paint job like this will cost 2-3x what a supercharger would. To do it right there is a ton of labor in teardown and re-assembly.

A couldn't see a paintjob like this costing 18-27k lol (thats almost as much as the car). Maybe your are right but I highly doubt it.

I thought SCs were like 5K, and I was figuring 10-15K for this paint job. Like I said, not an expert.

Ahh ok. I was talking about the S/C and install, tune, etc. Maybe around 15k. I am waiting on a quote from a couple shops atm just to see what the average cost would be. But my shops of choice are as I stated above.

If you get Richard to paint it, it will cost, but it WILL look fantastic. I've seen a few of his bikes. Not familiar with the paint jobs from Ultimate Audio, but I've heard good things.

dont get me wrong, its a gorgeous color... but IMHO, I would sell your car and get an ABM camaro

Youre going to be spending so much money to ultimately devalue the car... If you go to ABM, that money could be spent to customize so many other things that would make the car stand out to the average person

alot of your mods in your sig could be removed and reinstalled on the other car.. The colors look just so close to me... Here is ABM as compared to the jetstream blue

ABM gives a teal color when the sun hits it. JSB gives a whitish/pearl color. 2 different colors. Plus ABM would be extremely hard to find. Haven't seen any around my area.

Richard is a very good buddy of mine. I've had him take off my front license plate bracket and do the trunk blackout on my camaro. Hr quoted me $4000 for the entire job but with the JSB it will probably be higher. Ultimate Audio is a very reputable shop and would probably be the one that costs more.
