Definitely pricey I got my aftermarket Stage 3 which can handle 850lbs of torque for $800 along with flywheel.

I understand the advantages of carbon fiber, my family owns a armored truck factory and we like to use some carbon fiber in them because of the strenght and how light they are but $2500 at least for me its way to high and that coming from a guy that spent about 17k including labor on his car.

i dont see how anyone would replace the clutch now in a brand new car unless you burn the clutch, which in that case you should not get manual in the first place. if you know how to drive and do not abuse the car, clutch is supposed to last over 200k miles.
poinless...

Well, I am not sure what you plan on doing to your vehicle but we already have quite a few cars being shipped to us from all over the country to have our "Punisher 440ci" package installed as well as our Supercharged setups. Both of these packages will be making WELL over 600rwhp. Its a known fact that the factory clutches will NOT hold that kind of hp and torque. When I build a setup for a customer, I do not cut any corners. Yes I would make more money selling these packages with the factoryy clutches and once they burn up I will make the extra money in labor fixing them but that is not the way I do business. My packages come with the best of the best parts so when your car leaves my shop I am 100% confident that you will not have any issues.

Great Job LMR for looking at things from the longterm picture! It takes a total package to create a "super car". Looks like you are making some serious waves.

This cluch set up is as close to stock pedal feel as you can get and there is little to no chatter I have many friends with this set up in vettes and I have driven all of them ranging from 570rwhp to 625 rwhp n/a.

Trust me you will need this clutch, If think about how heavy the car is and you plan on modding it you will need a clutch.

I will probably definately looking into a clutch. I am not too knowledgable about clutches, so any info helps. When I pick up my car it will have at least 530 to the wheels, so we will see how long the stock clutch will last.

Yes you will. These cars are so heavy that when you throw that much hp and tq at them it will only be a matter of time before they start slipping or clutch pedal starts sticking to the floor. Dont get me wrong though, if you do not beat on the car much, the factory clutch will last for a little while. Its all about how you drive it with the hp and tq your car is making.

I hate to bump threads but wondered if a) these are in stock yet and b) if you have any plans for a group buy or intro pricing?

You must have read my mind. We just got done with our brochure for the 2010 Camaro so we will be running specials on a few of our products come our grand opening of our new shop on August 8th. Be looking for group purchase posts sometime next week. Please shoot me a pm if you are interested if I can get the price down on them with a group buy, and also mention which one you are interested in. Thanks!

Yes, these are in stock and ready to ship

Unless you take it to the strip, and add a bunch of mods to the car... the stock will either burn out a lot faster, or just fail... not so good for you quarter miles times...

You really only need one if you are putting on power adders and racing a lot.
