have your read up on the chiller products or does van have any insights on this?

I like the meth kit in theory but I don't like that you have to fill the tank. then again it is not like you don't have to fill the gas tank you could just but in a sensor to monitor the level. I have been researching the issue of the meth stripping the teflon coating on the rotors. I am trying to find data on the super chiller setup for road racing.

on paper that product just shines to me. always availible, nothing to refill, very low intake tems. I have seen the drag strip data and it works awesome but not any road race data.

what brand HX did you go with?

I been reading about the super chiller system, the only thing that holds me back is messing with my ac system and the controls inside the car. Their product gets great reviews for drag racing but road racing is so much more demanding so i dont know how it will do. Plus you always have the ac off when on the track. For the headers i used kooks ZL1 specific fitment.

the system turns the in cabin AC off and leave the chiller active for intercooler. my only concern is stock tuning shuts off the compressor at WOT and I would like to see data if you need to modify that or there is enough time not at WOT that temps stay down.

I am not too worried about the AC system I have my own vaccum pump and gauges to charge AC systems.

I am still researching it though but on paper it seem like the most economical solution. I would proabably have to do the install myself though no dealers in oregon.

From what I've read the super chiller can be used for road racing but the tune has to disable the factory AC compressor shut off at WOT.
