Couldn't be happier with my JBA exhaust, and I'm sure the help of some other mods created the sound as well.

Just remember, one man's sonic nirvana is another man's drone. Listen to sound clips like RTcat600man suggested. You might enjoy KMPrenger's set up. I've personally listened to it rode in it and it doesn't drone, has a nice deep tone and isn't way loud. I'd PM him and ask more details. Good luck.

I agree take your time, I have the flowmaster. If you decide to do a rear mount turbo, then you'd won't need the mufflers,

i love my flowmasters on mine. Deep sound and low RPMs but not an overwhelming sound. Not too loud, not too quiet and i got it for around 420 off performance peddler

I'm not looking for just straight up noise. Nothing I hate more than a clumsy sounding exhaust thats just trying to put out as much volume as possible.

But I definitely want it to be louder than what I have now. I'd like a clean growl. I want it to be as loud as possible without it sounding bad, you know?

Anyway trying to keep it under 700 for the part, so any suggestions would be great
I like the borla axle back. Only loud when you want it to be and sounds good with headers if you go that route.

I recently went down to my local muffler shop and I was recommended to install the Flow master Outlaw system. I know this is a popular mod for SS drivers but I haven't heard of any V6's with this system installed. Has anyone ever heard of this system on a V6 and does it sound good? Any other recommendations?

Will it even fit?

Looks similar to the slp loudmouth which are basically straight pipes, how do you think that will sound on a V6? Its going to rasp.
Your concern as being a V6er is rasp. People tend to whine about drone but rasp is what makes your car sound like a ricer which is FAR MORE embarrassing.

The guy seems to be sure of himself.. although I'm second guessing his choice. after reading up on that particular system.

I am very new to the exhaust realm of cars so I don't really know exactly what to look for. I know I want a deep sounding exhaust and not a ricer exhaust... But other than that I don't really know much else. Any advice for a newbie?

I love MRT's exhausts for the Camaro. Even though the v2 is more popular, I love my v1s. Here's my video clip, but as for every video, it sounds much better in person. No mods other than the exhaust. Also they sound a bit deeper after they've been broken in, but they weren't broken in in this video.

Thanks! Glad you like em , I will say this though. There will be drone with the v1s, but as time goes on it seems to go away/you get used to it. It doesn't bother me though, just a small price to pay for an awesome sounding exhaust. I believe the v2s have drone as well, but not as bad.

As for buying them, I bought mine directly from MRT's website a while back because I don't think think any of the vendors here sold them at the time. I believe I bought them at the same price though at $472.99. Here are some links.

Thanks a ton! I am only 20 years old so honestly I won't mind the drone at all! Now, I do have a CAI, do you have one/ did you in this video? I know when i installed it the noise increase was quite drastic so I'm assuming I should expect louder? Also, do you reccomend any other bolt on/ easy install upgrades?

Thanks!!!!
