(i know old thread)

I have the stainless works pictured above with no Cats and I am having a hard time finding someone to pass inspection. Needs to pass visual, not emissions.

Then youve answered your own question. If you wont pass a visual, then you need to put cats on to pass the visual. Then after you pass, put your catless extensions back on and keep the cats on a shelf for the next time you need to pass inspection.

I'm a dog person...no cats.

With the Flowmasters I have achieved old-school sound with new-school technology. Exactly what I was aiming for.

Yeah, easier said than done. $400 for the cats!

Sorry, i should've been more specific... Put some "cats" on. Dummy shells are cheap and I can't imagine a shop charging more then $80 to weld them up into your carless extensions.

You gotta spend money in some way or another to get this done. Do you still have your stock manifolds and cats laying around?

I love burnouts!

Call SW to see if they sell a midpipe that looks like cats. I know TSP's catless mids look like cats.

I have long tube headers, off-road pipes with no cats run to the stock H-pipe and straight out the back with no mufflers.
CEL light has been on since the header install. Runs fine in warm weather, a little rich in the cold (lost about 2mpg when it's below 45°)

No cats here and a custom tune will take care of any CEL's.
