If someone is planning to stay over, do you have a suggested hotel/location? Clarksville or Ft. Campbell?

PS, Rob with DCCC will be another TA

There's a Holiday Inn and a Comfort Inn near Gate 7 of Fort Campbell, those would be the closest. I'm sure there are a few more but those two stick out in my mind at the moment.

Where: Clarksville, TN and Ft Campbell, KY (will edit to add address and directions - please check back)
When: Sat., Nov 10 - registration from 9:00AM - 11:00AM
Cost: $15 per person or $30 per Camaro-load (also, if you would like, you may bring new/unwrapped toy(s) to be donated to Holiday House for this year's toy drive). Food tickets (for a BBQ plate), normally on sale, will be provided for Camaro Club members that register for this event. Water and Soda is included but beer, rack of ribs, and additional food will cost extra.

Operation Homefront is a non-profit organization that's mission is to provide emergency financial and other assistance to the families of military service members and wounded warriors. In coordination with Operation Homefront, Fort Campbell's "Holiday House" collects toys for distribution during the holidays.

This year, on Veteran's Day weekend (Nov 10), Operation Homefront and Holiday House are having a large benefit event including:

- BBQ World Champions
- Live Music
- Car and Bike Show - Camaro Club, Memory Lane Cruisers (classics and antiques), and Harley Davidson club
- Toy Drive

At Noon, we will have an escorted cruise to Ft. Campbell for the toy drive. Last year at Ft. Campbell, the cars were joined by two Bradley Fighting vehicles and a Humvee. We will then return for live music and raffle drawings and to display our cars, with the show wrapping up at 6:00PM.

Music City Camaro club (along with our sister clubs in the region) have been asked to attend to raise money for these great causes. We would like to extend that invitation to attend to all of our Camaro5 friends!

At last year's event, Music City Camaro Club was asked to participate and we had 25 Camaros on display. This year we are looking to expand this, hoping for 50 Camaros and are collecting the money to help out with this great cause as a way to give back to the families of the soldiers that sacrifice so much to ensure that we continue to experience the freedoms and security that we have.

If you are interested in attending, please sign up here (including how many people will be riding in your Camaro - so we can secure the corporate funding support to cover our meal costs).

If you have any questions, please send a message either to myself (GnyaTek) or Dave (CamaroRS/SS10).

Pictures from last year's event were featured on the Camaro5 homepage:

Woohoo!

Now I'll just have to convince The_Breeze (out of Knoxville) to join us this weekend and we can have both of ya (and prove that y'all aren't actually one and the same person!). Of course, I don't think that Dan has a husband ...
