If you lift up the liner of the trunk floor, there is a well big enough for the compact spare to fit down in to, so it won't take any trunk room. (even tho I read somewhere "there's no room for a spare") I bought the compact spare when I ordered the car for $150.

Wow this is amazing. I have had way too many flats over the years to even consider driving without a spare.

MOST people never even check the air in their spare tire, it's an afterthought and only think about it when they need it. That being said, I would assume 70-80% of the cars on the road today are effectively driving with "No Spare". Just my $0.02

ok everybody worried about a flat don't get a SS
there is no way a 20" spare will fit in the trunk, and a regular spare won't fit over the brembos so problem solved |

the way of the future? no spare ? really what idiot made you believe that or are you just so gullable? I travel 2400 miles from NY to AZ every winter and the camaro without a spare is an Ahole idea from GM. I just bought wheel locks how do I get the lug nuts off with my teeth? GM I'm glad you went bankrupt you should be out of business totally.
1 sorry camaro 2LT owner. 28K for a car with no spare, no tools and no locking gas door. Boy oh Boy |

1) You have free roadside assistance 2) With the inflater you don't have to take the wheel locks off 3) You have a 2LT...you could have ordered the donut when you ordered the car 4) Many, many new cars, not just Camaro or GM, come with no spare and the inflater kit.
