CAN YOU PASS ON THAT ORDER TRACKING INFO? WHAT IS THE RP6 CODE MEAN? I ORDERED MY CAR ON OCT.13TH ALSO AND I AM BEING MESSED OVER BY MY DEALER AND RECEIVED WORD THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY SOLD MY CAR TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER PER SAY AND NOT NOTIFIED ME THAT IT HAS EVEN CAME IN?

You should take this to small claims court since the order was placed in your name...

I'll wait to see what the dealer can do. They've been very good to me thus far, I'll see what they can do to fix this. Probably nothing, but I'll give them a chance.

Wow, I am sorry, that sounds extremely frustrating.

I would just re-order.....rather than accept less than what I ordered.

Take the delivery.. You can get HID's that will look even better in my opinion than the current RS package soon enough.. The roof ditch won't cost that much to paint, and you can get the tail-lights easily smoked.. Overall, don't miss out on your car based on this issue.. You can even get the wheels painted a darker silver as well but that to me isn't necessary.

I for one think the regular Halogen lights look better than the HID's at all times..Looks like Bumblebee..

The RS package was known to magically 'dissapear' any time things on your order were changed or if your status changed sometimes I beleive. Camaro Scotty warned about double checking your order quite a few times. Coulda been a computer glitch.

So far this entire 'GM Experience' has been a failure..'wait and see' is all I hear. Don't know if ANY car is worth the hassle..

I had the issue of the dropping RS package when changing your order. . . . I was lucky enough to get a print out of the workbench and I noticed it was not there. . .

It's not "GM's" fault but your dealers for not checking the order over. And in a small part yours for not checking the order over. . . . I trippled checked mine to make sure everything was ok.

*** RS order dropped when i changed the interior.

Several threads on this already. Yes it is the fault of GM and the dealer.

Now, what will you do about it? You can refuse the car and re-order. The wait will be a LOT less this time. The R6P is nothing else but a code. I doubt you want R6P on the sticker more than you want an RS package, based on your posts.

If I were you, I would refuse the car and re-order. You sound like you know exactly what you want and would probably wait a little bit more to get it. Don't delay, just order another one. Check the new workbench order over carefuly after ANY changes are made so you can catch it if the options get accidentaly dropped. I did check mine and caught an error after I dropped the Hurst shifter. The dealer still does not believe me that it went down that way but the software they use has bugs in it.

JMO.

YEP!!! They did fix it though finally (they being GM). I would imagine that's exactly what happened.

just a thought but is it possible that the rs package isnt showing up on order but could still be on car???? personally i went without rs package because everyone is doing it and im hoping to wait and see what aftermarket stuff i can get my hands on...all and all its your car and your choice dont pay for something you dont want but this my be an oppertunity to make your car standout above the rest..good luck

You have every right to be frustrated.

For the reason you stated. I'd probably reorder. No reason to have that reminder everytime you walk by the car.
