I would make sure it had oil changes regularly (carfax) and check if tire tread is good. Also check way under the car for scrapes/dings. Also look closely at glass for chips.

Thank you very much .

I have a friend who happens to be a good mechanic [ around 30 years of experience ] , who is willing to come with me and take another look at the car .

beside that , is there anything else on the test drive side ?? acceleration , noise to look out for .... etc etc .

Note : the car is an AT .

it's a three year old car. 12k a year is low. The standard is 15,000 a year.

Definately take it to your mechanic with a lift and have the tranny components inspected. Have the tires and brakes inspected, the differental fluids, the engine oil and filter as well. Make sure all of the interior electricals and ammenties are operating correctly..................and on a side note (referencing the cosmetic's in the provided pic's) keep a close eye out on the idiots among the other drivers there who obviously have no respect for cars like these in the Walmart parking lots. Enjoy the new ride if all checks out..................

Shine a flashlight into the engine oil filler cap. If you see clean aluminum surafaces with a coating of gold color oil, buy it. If you see a black coating on everything, run away from this car.

i am finally close to purchasing my very first [ 5th Gen ] 2010 2SS Camaro .

And i would just like to know what should i look out for when i go to look at it again .

so far I've done the following :

1) inspected the car for scratches [ it has few that can be easily removed ] , and it had a tiny paint chip on the rear bumper .

2) Car history is being processed by the dealer through the VIN number , but as far as i know the car has not been through any accidents - Knock on wood - .

3) it has 36K miles on it .

4) beside that the car is spot less [ from my prospective ] , but i would like to know what are the things i should be looking out for , since i have yet to test drive it .

Plus the car owner really took care of the car , and it's his baby i guess .

ill upload few pictures . [ i apologize for the low quality camera pictures ]

P.S : in the 5th picture i noticed there is a Paint Crack in the Front bumper , so i believe its not the bumper as it is dent free , so what should i do to fix that ??
If you end up going for it, Congratulations! We are here if you have any specific questions about warranties that apply to the vehicle or options that the vehicle was built with. Just private message me with the VIN.

Ok - I have a 2010 Aqua Blue RS. The paint job on my car (I just got it in July) is spotless. It was a daily driver for them, and it is for me as well. I know have 38K on it.

I do have a mark on my rim, I did it myself. It was not like that when I got it. I don't blame you for being excited about it, I just think w/ the paint chipped, and the rims bangs up, he was pretty rough on this car.

If you are going to take care of whats under the hood, you are going to drive it likewise. Baby it, change the oil all of the time then drive it like an Accord? Probably not.

I think if you hold out and wait a bit, you can do a much better job, patience!

Thank you very much for backing me up in this , because for a second i thought it might be too much , but after seeing most of the cars around here I'm convinced its not that much .

i will also pull the service history record from my local dealer .

So far from what i have seen , it has not suffered from any abuse .

and it has only one rim damaged with that scratch .

no accident history , and only few cosmetic scratches .

for some reason when i went and saw the car in day light , it didn't look that bad at all .

i will be inspecting it thoroughly though .

Thank you for the advice

Like I said my man. As long as you don't heat anything odd in the engine...get them down to 26-27k and I think it's a good buy. I would also start out at 25k then when they say no walk out for a day . See if they call back. I say bite on it
