looking for wheel locks .anybody know the size

How does this look compared to the standard ones? I mean does it stand out noticeably? I seem to recall seeing a pic of one somewhere, and it looked weird having 4 of the same lugs and then 1 lock that looked different than the rest. It kind of stuck out like a sore thumb :(

Bought mine today McGard part # 24210 @ Pep-boys cost 30.00
they do extend out a little futher that the stock lug nuts, but it will stop the thugs from ripping off your wheels......

can't a thief just strip the studs and them them off with a impact wrench or just a regular star wrench?

I just bought these and we will see how they fit. I picked up some at walmart that were 14 x 1.5 and they were too short. During tightening the lock nut, the stud pushed the internal key part out of the lock nut ... hopefully I don't have the same problem with these ..

a can of freeon and a chissel with a hammer wack them right off . but today nobody carries that shit with them we are just looking to deter them ,they rather hit a car with out them its very easy to get them off .im putting the club on mine also just for a laugh

Yes they can be defeated. But it is just another Layer in your Vehicular Defense Strategery.

If you have a good alarm with zone and shock sensors it will set off the alarm. If the alarm is 2 way it will beep a pager (range depends on model etc).

Otherwise they hit at 3-5 AM and your in REM and so is about everyone else.

KITT knows when to page you.

It's all about the layers.

I just ordered the Gorilla "System". Every lug is a lock so you don't get that odd look of just one lug that is different. I think I paid ~$60.00. I haven't recieved them yet. I will post pics when I get them on.
