what will be the real difference between this and connecting to the net through your phone? Will it download faster or anything?

This is good news because I'm not impressed with any of the kits on the market. There needs to be a more reliable solution, and hopefully these new kits pull through.

I have all the info on the Kenwood units. This WILL be released at SEMA on Jan 8th and made available by Kenwood to the public. At that time I can share info with you guys as well.

The dash kit I do not have specific dates on yet.

I heard that is not a Dash kit. That instead it's going to interface with my link like the 2012 models already do with the ford sync. This will allows us to use the factory bezel but with kenwood double din

This would be awesome, but I am wondering if it will allow those of us with non-MyLink cars to use this bezel with a Kenwood headunit? If so, I'm in as long as the price isn't ridiculous.

Not sure I guess we will find out together soon. Also on the rumor side Metra supposedly considering a new version of dash kit but debating with legal if having touch hvac controls is ok
