Yea. I think it was a waste of $$ and time for the glossifier. I actually did my intake tube with no glossifier and I think that looks glossier than the wheels.

I did about 5-6 coats. 4 cans, that's what's in the kit from dipyourcar.com

Yup. That kit is perfect, and I used almost all 4 cans. I used one entire can on all 4 rims per coat or so. So they have about 4 thick coats, plus 2 touch up coats. Id say on any wheel you should use 1 can per wheel. I had maybe like 1/4 can left when I was finished, I kinda did that on purpose so I'd have some leftover for touch ups.

only bad thing with plasti dip is when you get new tires, the dip rips and you have to redo the wheel or if your lazy like me just get a razor and cut off the bad part and touch up the wheel haha

armor all works great to shine/gloss them up a bit. I always use the tire foam stuff anyway and I just wipe off the excess from the tire onto the wheels. Doesn't get any easier than that and it does great!

Good idea... Ill have to give that a shot, cause the glossifier is kinda sticky to the touch. It leaves finger prints pretty easy haha

OP I see you are in Brentwood. I work in brentwood and I think I've seen your car before. I'm always in my commuter so you wouldn't notice me. Clean ride.

I used to plastidip my stock wheels and just used that foaming tire cleaner on them to make them shine. It worked really well.
