You'd need another amp to power the subs

Phoenix Gold makes what you want.

Just because a box is made from MDF does not mean it is not quality. Do a little research before you assume that MDF is bad.

Birch can be used but is mainly for portable systems due to its decreased weight.

If wood bothers you (MDF) you can seal it with something as simple as watered down wood glue.

Cheers

I do not need to look into MDF, I work with it all the time. It is just high density fiber board, it is just sawdust with glue. It is used in cabinets and will absorb water and grow. It is also very easy to work with, that is why people use it. Plywood is far more stable, but for a car plastic or composite is better for me. You can grind into it and it is not like plywood, but is is just glorified particle board. For a car it is cheap material to work with. Asak is a product used now that is much better than MDF.

I would make my own box if MDF, I have a 1000sq ft in the shop here, I know it would be good for a sub box, I just have a issue using it in a car, that's just me.

What is this Asak you speak of? While I dont mind MDF I am not opposed to new products! Would love to use fiberglass but I have no skill with that.

Azak is a composite product we use for facia board and trim outside on homes, It may be spelled wrong, but it is like a plastic. At this time I do not know if it comes in 4x8 sheets.

It is spelled Azek. http://www.azek.com/

Without "advertising" anything, please PM me to discuss options on anything audio wise in these cars. Thanks...
