I wouldn't put LS badges on, but I have to agree on the Civic drivers. Total boneheads who really think a fart can makes them fast. Dumber than dirt.

I have a Edelbrock supercharger and some other goodies and I love when people come up on me and think that I just have a stock SS. I think it is more fun not advertising what I have under the hood.

This..... in addition to de-badging completely makes for an interesting drive. There is nothing like a AMG pulling up at a light asking "What the hell did you do to that car".

I had a Porsche GT3 RS recently try to play with me on back roads. He was a really good driver and it was a little fun, but then I finally told him it's only a V6. He thought the RS looked like SS badging.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Debadge > Badging...

If you're adding aftermarket badges to your camaro that puts you at the level of that civic... just saying

I dont get challenged that much anyway, I added 6.2L to the cowl, and added quad 4" exhaust.

The car is louder, and meaner looking with my mods, and out of the couple times I have been challenged, it was all before my mods.

So yeah, maybe modding in general helps make them realize you are faster.

Never had a problem with anyone trying to race me in either of my Camaros (SS or the ZL1). My wife has gotten challenged in both. Not sure why, windows were tinted in both.

I don't think badging matters at all.

For me, I don't try street racing those dudes with badges. Turns out, the dudes with badges issue citations for that kind of thing! Who'd a figgered?!? And some of those Crown Vics and Caprices are fast, too!

I put "My car is super fast so don't even try it buddy you'll lose" stickers on both sides of my SS, across the rear bumper, and on my windsheild (backwards on the windsheild) . Works like a charm and it looks AWESOME

I have not had a car try to mess with me in a long time most time they hear my car and they know better. I do get the occasional ignorant mustang guy but it seem the tuners know better.

I took my SS badge off the back and it seemed okay, but a few days later i painted the wheels and adding some decals and welcome back to people trying to race.

I will say this i do get a lot of cars trying to look inside the cabin from their cars and feel like they might get a bit to close, but in the end its normal and i bet it happens to any sports car in the road.
