Not legal at all but just put it in a higher gear around the coppers and you can't hear a thing . They give you the options of cats for +$270 but I didn't get them. They told me the car sounds pretty much the same either way.

Absolutely we can meet up bud. Small world lol. Ummm the resonators on the LS3 are much smaller and don't do much but yes I still have them. So it's pretty much like striahgtpipes....they are muchhhh bigger on the L99.

Suspension/chassis upgrades are vital for some performance driving. If you really like hitting the twisty's hard that is. Sway bars, subframe connectors, coil over springs, strut tower brace are important just to start. You'll get varying opinions on what is most helpful in locking your car down but have a look at this link from Speed INC. to get an idea of function and pricing.

Long tube headers (1 7/8) and cats have been mentioned. Many goodies here...Clicky!!!

I really like Texas Speed and Performance

Your engine is basically a big air pump. The more efficiently it can move air the more power you will make. The intake is where it all starts.

I think I paid about$150 for Hooker headers in 1976.

Can't speak for the quality but $469 is a pretty good price even for just the headers compared to the competition. http://texas-speed.com/p-2168-texas-...ro-ss-62l.aspx
And they are 304 Stainless

My next major bolt on is Maggie but not sure I want to do that or the drive train upgrades first to handle the power without breaking. Not much I hate more than being broke down somewhere.

I guess I will do some more research on the CAI and Cam!
