This may have something to do with the curing of the paint?

Update: I called her to look at the car while it was sunny outside and she said all the spots are gone except for like 3 or 4 and she said she had to look really close to see them.

I think the folks in this section are tired of my sounding like a pitchman for a certain product.
I'm not! I was a doubter before I tried it. Zaino FTW!

Nothing to do with curing of the paint it is already cured. Sounds like she didn't dry it quick enough or at all.

No worries the paint is not ruined, you can get the water spots out.

i use the one thats in the clear tube as well. The thing is if you wash the car and its clean and whatever your drying it with is clean there should be no problems. Some you act like you have never washed a car before and something special needs to be done. To me I take care of every car the same. my camaro will get the same treatment as the 07 silverado. Wash at least twice a month and waxed 3-4times a year

Sham-Wows are not that great. They have not fully dried off my camaro and they leave all sorts of fuzz on the car. I do use one for my tires which works well

Ouch. I feel for your paint. Terry cloth towels are about the worst towel you can use on it.

If you get bird droppings on the car and you have a good coat of wax take a bottle of quick detailer to it with a microfiber towel. Dont rub it too hard but enough to get it off. Itll work like a charm.

I love the absorber that everyone is talking about being in a clear tube. I prefer to not drag or pull anything else other than the lambswool wash mit over the paint. The absorber is awesome for this. I just lay it on the car for horizontal surfaces and blot it on vertical sufraces. Ring it out everyonce in a while but no dragging of a drying towel over the paint. That is just another way you can introduce scratches.

Here's a tip I've found helpful for me with the absorber.....more/less organizational tip...

I tear off the plastic wrapping on the outside of the tube....take a big black permanent marker and write the date and color of the absorber on the tube.

The absorber does lose it's effectiveness after a spell and I've found this helps me keep track of and decide when to toss the older ones!

I found that using a leaf blower and the Big Blue III drying towel work great.
