As a former insurance adjuster, I think I can safely predict that your uninsured motorist/under insured motorist coverage will pay for your loss. Do yourself a favor; give all the info to your insurance carrier and let them handle it; that's what you're paying premiums for.

Keep us updated on this. Those morons... Hey your going to get your beautiful car fixed and they may be spending some time behind bars (and if you are injured they can be looking at a nice sized lawsuit!).

Envoy with Cali plates. Hope it wasn't me.

I do have an Envoy and live in Cali. Bad joke
That truly pisses me off when dumb stuff like that happens. You'll get her fixed good as new.

make sure you make a report ASAP! I had something similar happen and called the police department. They told me to come in when I had time to fill out a report. I go in the next day and the other person made the same report that I HIT THEM! BIG hassle!

That sucks. I hate cowards that leave no note after hitting a car, and that hit and run.

Hit & run is fairly serious (a misdemeanor in Nv, max $1000/6mo jail), but they'll probably claim that "they didn't know they hit anything...".

I'd be mad as hell too...

I have had this happen here in Vegas. Wasn't the camaro however they were illegal aliens borrowing and uninsured truck. What happens is your insurance charges you the deductable if they have no insurance and then the insurance will sue the owner of the vehicle and if they win and they pay. You will actually get your deductable back. In my case I never got a dime back. Good Luck man!
