Was just a tongue in cheek complaint, I know they are better, know they are gonna dust up.

Thanks to those who have given help and solutions.

Some decent brushes or rolling her forward will probably be my solution. Would love to take them off for one good cleaning and preventative treatment, but no jack...makes it tough. And no place to store a good one... keeps me from that route.

So far, a great ride. Could be worse, she could be under 3 feet of snow like the poor guys in New England.

Hang in there all, summer WILL come.

Jim

I use a soft sponge- like brush for washing drinking glasses that I bought a dollar store . Works perfect and when it gets too dirty throw it out and buy a new one

You need new wheels. I can clean mine at any angle with my setup.

2nd on the Wheel Woolies. They have cheaper versions (maybe $10) at the auto parts stores. I've been using them for years.

No jack makes it tough to do myself.

And I DO like the inside rim to be clean, may have to adjust my expectations.

Just wanted to vent... :-) not a real problem, just a first time cleaning observation.
You could buy a decent floor jack and the pads, you do it yourself and it'll still be cheaper....

You HAVE to get a floor jack and jack stands.

I use the Daytona brush and it works like a charm, no need to move the car an inch.

Cleaning the brake dust is a small penalty to pay considering how well the Brembos stop the car.
