How are they the same cost?

I'm not trying to start an argument over this, it's just plain stupid to compare them and I've been a huge fan of this show (UK not US) but I am glad they said they did like it in the end.

Erhm... the AMG costs twice as much as a Camaro, even after import taxes...

They also disqualified the Camaro on one stage when one of the announcers tried to tap some sort of air dam on the front of the car (nice idea but poor execution of aerodynamics). Had the Camaro been able to go on the track and do its laps I believe that the results would have shown the Camaro to be much more competitive. That said, I guess having a ZL1 vs a Boss GT Mustang would be in good taste!

I watched that too, and I wonder who sponsored the show....*cough* Ford *cough*. The US version of Top Gear sucks. They will never be able to do what the UK version does since the BBC is owned by the government over there and they don't depend on advertising money to keep the show running. They didn't say a single bad thing about any of the cars they tested, they all broke even, and it wasn't even an entertaining show for the most part. I gave it a chance for two seasons, and I'm done with it. The only US car show to watch is The Car Show with Adam Carolla. That is awesome programming and it's not full of no personality hosts. I hope that show comes back soon.

I wanted to see the SRT8 392 race the 5.0..... But with the orangutan Rutledge behind the wheel of the 6-speed 392 I would expect Adam to win since his torque is more manageable and it's easier to hook.

Bizarre review

Net - the review reads as saying that Camaro is best all round buy but loses to GT500 on basis of power (I believe the word is ... duh!) and loses to the Challenger on looks...

Review was not done by one of the 3 regular presenters but by one of their magazine writers
