As for removing the front bowtie. Get yourself a pair of work gloves. Get a good grip and firmly but slowly pull and twist and it comes right off. I did it and I have the bowtie delete kit on my car. The glove are very important or you will tear your hands up.

What is underneath the bowtie once it is popped off? I am asking because I want to put an SLP SS emblem and Landing pad on.

Do I have to modify the grill any? TIA!

Just a recessed area with two verticle and two horizontal slots. Look at the picture in post 5. The SLP landing pad will fill the area as pictured in your link.

It's not cemented in... you need to remove the tension on the clips.

I just did my front and rear bowtie. The front is a pain in the arse and a two person operation. One person has to keep tension and the parts that get loose while the other keep fiddling with the clips behind it to get them off. I found this link, but didn't remove the top part of my grill to get to it. I just shoved my skinny ass arms in the hood lift section with a big flat head screw driver. It was a pain to get those center clips off. Anyway, for the rear one, I'd suggest doing what this guy did so you don't lose your spot.

When I got the Phantom grill I had to take off front bowtie. I just ripped it off haha, probably wasnt the smartest thing to do but no damage was done to bowtie or car so i guess i got lucky.

Go back to the glove box, A phillips head screw will now be visible. unscrew it and you will feel the slack pull back.
Finally get your kahooter ring puller and put it on the embelem, turn 3 turns and it comes right off!

You forgot one other step. Spray some kahooter juice on it to lube it up!

This is the BEST advice! I tried for ten minutes bare handed (in the rain.). I was miserable, sore, and my hands were raw. The front bowtie would not come off. After I put a pair of work gloves on, it came off in about 60 seconds. It helps to push down on the tabs on the back of the bowtie while pulling.
