I know one or two of our Camaro Customers asked about Flat Black on Black. They bought stripes, but I have not received any pics back yet.

I thought all Camaro black stripes were flat black? I would expect GM won't give that option black w/ flat black stripes but your dealer can order them and then apply them.

It would look very cool!

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but can the vinyl stripes be removed from the car years after without any damage to the paint?

Sorry for putting another Mustang on this thread, but here are some shots of a Rousch Mustang we did. We have a black Camaro that will be done soon and I will post those photos as soon as they are available.

I love the black car with satin black stripes. The black and cyber grey is nice also. Maybe a darker silver stripe. But satin black is my favorite. And for me it has to have chrome wheels

I've done it a few times. Use a heat gun and be careful not to burn the paint. 3M also sells a stripe remover which is sprayed onto the stripe.

Depending on the time the decal was on the car, you will most likely see where the stripe used to be due to the fact that the paint under the stripe was protected from the sun and contaminents compared with the rest of the cars paint.

If they wont install it or put it on your order from the factory, your dealer should be able to be able to order the part seperate and put it on. Or theres got to be a shop around that can make and install the same ones. check my sig for what i got, ive seen pics of this and it looks good.

Here is a picture of a RJT with flat black stripes at the dealer. These look like dealer installed items. Are these flat black enough? I think they would look great on a black camaro.

I would also like to see the section of the fascia under the bottom grille blacked-out too... like the new bumblebee, but without the "fog light cowl induction"

hence we need a second guinea pig ... or someone that is pretty good at photoshop
