Look at completed sales and see how many went unsold.

We're quick to jump and call a dealer a douche bag for doing this very same thing "supply and demand" But its ok for us to do.... Just doesn't make sense. I know that people need the money but so do the dealerships... either way I would never do it.

I have not bitched and complained about a single thing. I have redirected people who were tempted to over-pay, and I have stated that no one should pay over MSRP for this car. However, as far as the "back-stabbing" dealers go - meaning, people who sell someone else's pre-order right out from under them, or if they don't honor their previously-agreedupon MSRP price once the car arrives - yes, there is every right for someone to bitch and complain about that. That is a completely different situation. That is devious and dishonest. But if someone wants to be a fool and give me $10,000 for nothing, why would anyone pass that up? It would be foolish not to! So if someone came up to you and offered to hand you $10,000 - just because he didn't want it, no strings attached, absolutely free, nothing required in return - would you honestly turn them down? Come on, get real.

I was not pointing the finger at you, if you re-read my post I think you would agree.

That said, what you have replied with, begs me to give you a word to look up.

You don't necessarily have to live by this word, but some of us really do attempt to.

Integrity.

I'm done with your thread now.

This one leaves me with mixed emotions. I have remained pretty strident in not going to any dealer who would charge over MSRP. Still wouldn't do it. I personally don't care whether or not they do. I just don't like it as they are representing GM. But as has been said many timesthis is "Free Enterprise" and they can match the price to demand. I just won't go there.

Having said that, if someone came and offered me $10k over my sticker. Heck yes, in a heart beat. I can always get another one at some point in time. Which brings me back to the above. I would just have to wait until such time as I could get one for Sticker or less.

Gosh, I feel like a mercenary!

I had a chance to do this and did not. I regret not taking the money and running away from this vehicle.

I sell mine in a heartbeat for a $10k profit, wait a few more months and maybe order a new one for less than MSRP. Just saying....
