Press your OnStar button...tell them what is happening, and they will transfer you to "customer support" which is actually a tech team in Detroit area. They often can download a software patch through satellite right to your car.

I held the menu bottom didn't do
Anything just says no data supported please unplug

My 4 worked fine, and my 5 works fine.

Especially since the latest version of the OS, that lets you use the Music app, instead of blanking it out.

Do you have a USB drive that you can plug in?

For whatever reason something has to be plugged into the USB port in order for the Menu button thing to work.

With the USB port selected press and hold the select button (middle of radio station tuning knob) down and note the hardware and software version.

You need DB-DD to have the current version that has fixed most of the problems.

I tried that once I plugg it in, it says the same
Thing then switches back to fm radio and when I scroll through its gone just am fm xm and aux. I'm goin back to the dealer to raise some hell

That is the old version.

DB DD is current and seems to fix the problems I was having. I had the DB DD PDIM installed last week under warranty.
