My 94 V6 Camaro has an awesome sound. Its closer to a 94 V8 than an a ricer. Hopefully I can find something to make it sound like my 94.

On 4th gens those 3.4s sounded better than the 3.8s. My buddy had a '93 Camaro V6 and I had a '96 Firebird v6. We had IDENTICAL systems headers back, 3", etc... and his sounded way better than mine. Mine was faster of course, but I wish it had sounded as good as his.

Yeah, I'm thinking of keeping the stock pipes which are good. Eliminating those resonators, and replacing the mufflers with something like those Flowmasters.

It isn't rocket science, it's engine dynamics. It's a modern cutting edge V6, the key here is V6. The V8 has a different firing order and 2 more cylinders. I think it sounds great and everyone has different opinions on what sounds good. I think the Q35's sounds good and I also think this system sounds good. Everyone has there own opinions.

The 4th Gen V6 engines weren't even close to the current engine. The 3.4L was closer to the 4th Gen V8 so far as firing order and engine dynamics go.

Flowmasters sound good but aren't so great for HP. The engine simply won't sound like a V8.

ricer is thrown around this site way too much..simple stripes that arent typical wide stripes= ricer, high wing spoiler=ricer, loud V6=ricer, ANYTHING DIFFERENT THAN STOCK=RICER..Its a new word, hopefully theyll get tired of it soon..Calling everything ricer=non camaro owner or closed minded camaro owner that thinks ch anging the car is a sin. Also camaro is garage kept.

Im looking to boost my hp without making mine any louder. Anything Magnaflow i can buy right now for that..A little louder isnt bad but id rather stay just as quiet or quieter. Im leaning towards the Magnaflow x cat back deal. was just about to order it, but ill wait for your opinions before i make a hasty buy. also ive been dying and posting everywhere for hp upgrades, superchargers/turbos/twin turbos. im trying to out perform stock v8s hp-wise with my 6. any help on any of this is vastly appreciated.

My question is I was shopping online for a magnaflow x pipe and found two different ones one said x pipe exhaust and the other said muffler any exact links I could follow as well as a muffler delete thanks in advance

Which part numbers were you looking at? If you are looking for our resonated X pipe that is a popular among Camaro owners to use in place of the factory resonator, that part number is 11386. Please send us a PM if you happen to have any other questions!
