Is the splitter on that 45th painted or is primed?

Is the factory primed finish suitable for everyday driving, i like the matte finish.

Our splitter on the 45th has our Satin Black paint finish.

Primer is not suitable for everyday driving since it wont offer any UV protection that paint will.

Went out for a little top down driving to Bristol to check out the race crowd. Then I drove to Shady Valley on The Snake (US 421) stopped by the General Store. When I left I misjudged the angle of the exit and heard a loud Scrape on my Splitter. Then I pulled over to check out the Damage. I am glad that I had put some of the plastic door edge guard on the bottom of the splitter. It took all the damage. I came home and pulled the old edge guard off and put some new on. Best $11 dollar insurance you can get for your splitter.

Just ordered one myself Angrybird, gonna use your little idea when I install it if you don't mind. Cant wait to put it on.

Hi ACS...I was wondering will the T5 also fit on the 2014 Camaro RS 2LT V6 model?....Isnt it the same as the front of the 2013 model?

Hi Doug,

Unfortunately our 33-4-101 T5 splitter will not fit the 2014 LT model, it is indeed different.

We are considering designing a new splitter for the 2014, just not sure the demand is enough to justify the tooling investment. Perhaps we should start a new thread for the 2014 and see what the interest is.
