started using Opti bond tire gel about a year ago and I absolutely love it, I apply it using a small paint brush to apply a liite even coat and once on there for about a half hour it is bonded to the tire and no slinging. and the tires have a nice dark look to them, more of a matte look. and with out rain it will last for many days!! it is water based so no oily residue!!

If your want a wet, black, look, I like Armor All extreme tire gel. It looks good between washings and I have had no problems at all with sling off.

I've used the Meguiars tire gel, and although it looks good, applying it is like spreading glue on your tires. It's a real pain to spread and takes WAY too much product. VRT is definitely the way to go.

I know the optibond takes very little using a small paint brush to spread, I bought a 32 oz bottle last year and I use it weekly(though I don't need to) and I am maybe 1/5th the way throu the bottle. a little goes a long way!
