I would hate having a wire rubbing against my hood and paint!
I don't like the way it looks either.

Agreed!!! This looks bad ass! I race in open road races hitting 165. I am seriously thinking of getting these. Besides that. You see my car with a roll cage, hear the car run and look under my hood and yea the hood pins add even more bass ass plus safety to the car.

IMO, the people that mostly don't like the look are the ones who have to show off their new CAI! and that it for mods. No I wouldn't put them on a complete stock camaro! you'd look like an idiot. If your cars is bad ass worthy, PUT THEM ON!

I agree with the first half of this, that rubbing wire wouldn't cut it with me...but...I love how it looks. To agree with the original poster of this thread, yes...it does look bad ass!

I wouldn't want them to be functional though (not crazy about drilling holes in the hood either), but a cosmetic look of pins wouldn't be bad. I still don't think I would do it, but I like the look of it.

If I was to do hood pins, which i'm not, I would go with these. They just look cleaner.

My opinion is no, but it is your car. I don't think hood pins make a car look bad ass.

Why not put some on the trunk and the doors too.....they will be just as useful. Maybe a 2nd or 3rd set on the hood even to really dress it up. I've always been a function over form guy, but hood pins today serve no purpose, and I personally feel that sticking them on there for pure aesthetics is silly.....but it's your car, do with it what you will and enjoy it.
