On the good side it might make the 12-13's more valuable!

Wow! That's the way it should be done. Wait a minute, that is, so why screw around with perfection. Change something else like a factory catch can, oh wait that doesn't show. How about change the front front wheel rock/splash guards so we don't have to go aftermarket. Or splitter washers so we don't scrape up the front and a front camera or sensor so not to rub the curb. In other words, LEAVE THE DARN TAILLIGHTS ALONE!

You're actually rather kind.
When I saw the new rear end this is what I thought... The "refresh" just looks like SO MANY other rectangular rear lights. It went from uniquely Camaro to generic taillight. Sorry GM people, but that's my honest opinion. I'll have a '13 and upgrade to the recaros. Did I read that the "update" won't go into production on ZL1s until mid-cycle? MJOLLNR really REALLY is awesome, btw. Afterburners rock.

I've actually grown to accept the rear end. It could've been handled smoother, but IMO Chevy looked like they handled the change fairly well.
The only thing that I don't like a whole lot is the increased plastic area of the lower valence. The spoiler I'm not crazy about, but then again I wasn't too thrilled with the ZL1's spoiler when it was first introduced. Eh...what to do??

That rear end is FUGLY.. a complete miss imo unless they wanted it to have a generic asian look. Just saying. Glad I have a 2013.

I think the new rear works betters on the Z/28; but I don't mind it at all. I'm sure they will have a different diffuser for the ZL1; it's camo'd on the silver convertible.
