The true test to show a cars horsepower is the 1/4 dragstrip. With the weight of the vehicle and the mph you can determine what horsepower it makes < That math can't be manipulated.

As point of interest. In about 2001 we took my car to 3 different Dyno in the Detroit area on the same day and got 3 different results.
what shops did you take your car to? do any of which have a Mustang dyno?

I will be at the track in a few weeks just waitin for my tires I will post slips. I can drive so will see what she can do.
It pulls hard because it has 3.91's.

Your ass can give you pinpoint rwhp numbers?

butt dyno was a joke obviously. I fear the backlash of some members when I put in the cam and heads and post the dyno results if there a few hp higher then they should be. my goal is 500 hp at tire on motor and maybe and a lil boost by next spring.

I have to laugh. These threads are becoming pointless. I love seeing results the dyno results. I think we have proven the '13 cars are a making a little more than the 12's and before. On average about 10-15 more Hp. Some of the die hards automatically assume its a bad dyno operator or happy dyno. Because there is no way these cars could have less parasitic losses and unsprung weight than the previous LS3 equipped cars. It is really getting old. What is the point of coming into every dyno thread and telling the op they are wrong because the dyno gave a different number from what they expected. We get it! It's a tuning tool! Now let people enjoy their moment and stop trying to ruin it for them!

I just dyno my car( on a dyno com ) and it came at 364HP & 343TQ and all I have is JBA exhaust but it was 95-100 degrees outside so I'm sure it can maybe do alil more in cooler weather but I did it cause it was a free dyno I have my kooks LT headers w/cats , CAI , VMax TB, and maybe a tune on the way just waiting for arrival. Can anyone guess on how much ill dyno at after those mods? I'm hoping for 420-425HP & 390-400 TQ, am I off by much?

LT's with after market exhaust and tune are typically good for 415hp ish. So 425 should be possible with everything and a tune.

This was years ago Speed Industry in Troy has a Mustang AWD Dyno but it is a heartbreaker. (Comes in 30 lower than most)Motor City Speed has a Mustang AWD Dyno in Commerce/Novi. Pure Tuning in Toledo has Mustang AWD Dyno.

If you call Motor City speak with Rich G.
If you call Pure Tuning speak with Keith or Aaron.
Drop my name at either place (under my screen name )

I have know them all of them for years.
Matt.

Go run it at the strip with 446 rwhp your car should be trapping 114-116 mph.

I was using 4000lbs and coming up with 112MPH (12.10/ET). How do you get the 114/116 mathematically?

EDIT...I just got 114mph with 3800lbs.....but you need a driver so 4000lbs should be more realistic.

Motortrend pulled a 12.7 sec @ 111.8 mph bone stock, so 112 sounds
pretty low.

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...k/viewall.html

And this 2010 M6 LG car with DR's and 427rwhp pulled an 11.8 @ 121; see the run in the last 12 seconds of the video.
